Made with a superior blend of organic brown rice flour and vermiculite, this PF-Tek substrate provides the perfect environment for a variety of mushroom species. With thousands of inoculation points, the increased volume allows for faster colonization and yields reaching up to 1,000 grams or more.
Using it couldn’t be simpler: inject the sterilized bag, keep temperatures stable, and store it in the dark until fully colonized. Once colonization is complete, introduce light, and that’s it—no extra steps required.
Each four-pound bag is built to the highest standards, featuring a 0.22μm filter patch for optimal airflow and a medical-grade self-healing injection port for straightforward inoculation. I’ve grown for years using inject and forget bags. However the supplier I usually go with (spore buddies) stopped selling syringes. So I jumped ship to these guys. The grow bags are identical at a much more competitive price, I’m yet to grow the shrooms though. I also called and their customer service was amazing based on a new strain I was going to grow I was concerned about the substrate I was buying.
The reason I’m giving 4 stars though is because I ordered a grow kit (this isn’t tripping stores fault) but evri delivered in a week and managed to put a hole through the box into the grow bag itself! I complained to Evri but nothing came of it. I taped up the hole but ended up with a bag full of Trichoderma in less than a week. So I had to order a second grow kit.
I did ask the store of they could avoid Evri this time which they did. And DPD delivered it in good condition the next day.
I’ll keep shopping with this store mainly due to the customer service and as far as I can tell the spores/substrate look fine from my experience. But please don’t use Evri again! Thanks guys 😄
